The Framework Agreement for the Professionalization of Elite Athletes

Among the priorities of the French Ministry of Sports is the dual success—both athletic and professional—of elite athletes. In late 2014, the “Pacte de Performance” was launched to foster partnerships between companies and top Olympic hopefuls.
The goal is to support young athletes with Olympic or Paralympic potential throughout an Olympic cycle by offering them a professional future alongside their sports career. This is done through a framework agreement that may include a standard employment contract (CDI or CDD) with adjusted hours or an image rights contract with a clause for professional integration.
Between 2021 and 2024, ATLAND supported pole vaulter Ninon Chapelle through the Pacte de Performance of the French Sports Foundation.

“The life of a high-level athlete, filled with daily effort, training, and national and international competitions, is incredibly intense. However, I believe it’s important to explore other professional worlds beyond sport. The trust ATLAND has placed in me and the support they offer for this dual project is a great source of motivation in achieving my goals.”
